By the time you’ve finished the swim and cycling events of your triathlon you’re probably pretty tired, but you’re not done yet – you still have to complete the run. By this time your legs feel like rubber and you’re wondering how you’re going to finish.

While walking isn’t the end of the world, you didn’t enter your race with the intention of walking the run portion – you want to race! Conserving energy for the run, proper form, selecting the proper pace and proper fueling are all important elements to a successful run.

At Triathica we can help you put together a training plan that includes “brick” training sessions where you run immediately after you cycle so you get accustomed to the feeling of running on tired legs. We’ll help you set a realistic pace for your race distance and give you lots of race-day tips.

Our USAT certified coaches can help by prescribing workouts that will improve your running power, endurance and speed. Our Landice L9 treadmills are amazingly smooth and our Dartfish software will help us analyze your form for more efficient running.
