Nutrition is critically important if you’re going to ask your body to withstand the many hours of training you’re going to do each week. You’ll want to make sure you’re eating the proper foods before, during and after your workouts.
Generally, too little thought goes into what we put into our bodies and the impact it has in our athletic performance. Sure, when you’re young your body may be able to perform well even while you’re eating habits leave much to be desired. But, if you want to maximize your triathlon training and racing performance, watching your nutrition will help no matter what age you are.
